If we are successful, we hope to set up a new weekend working party to do further projects. If you've ever thought about joining the working party or just fancy helping out once in a while, but have other commitments on a Monday, this would be a great opportunity to get involved! As ever, please contact us on info at newington-cemetery.org.uk if you have any questions or want more information. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It was super to see several new faces and groups represented around the table. I was also heartened by the positive feedback on the value of having such a networking group. I am emailing today with two purposes: 1. I attach a letter outlining the ambitions, proposed format and ways of participating in the Greyfriars Kirkyard Community Project, which we discussed in detail at our last meeting. I would be grateful if you could circulate this information to your committee and membership (as appropriate). Caroline Gerard, co-Chair of the Edinburgh Graveyard Friends roundtable group, will shortly be in touch about a letter of support from the umbrella group, which would accompany EWH funding application. 2. I would like to arrange a January date for the next meeting of our roundtable group - could you please let me know if you or a colleague are available on Wednesday 23 or Wednesday 30 January 2019? We will meet at the EWH Office at 6.00pm. Please do not hesitate to contact me, or Caroline caroline.gerard at btinternet.com if you have any questions or would like any further information on the above. All good wishes Susan PS please let me know you wish me to remove you from this circulation list or if I should include anyone else Dr Susan Buckham Graveyards Development Officer Edinburgh World Heritage 5 Bakehouse Close 146 Canongate Edinburgh EH8 8DD (please note my usual working day is Wednesday) Directline: 0131 220 7721 Mobile: 07546 897 469 Edinburgh World Heritage Trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee.
