Hi all
I’ve just listed to Jim Alkhalili’s (radio 4) interview with Prof Pete Smith of Aberdeen University. It’s worth catching it on bbc sounds. 
It speaks of the importance of organic matter in soil both as support for bio diversity and a means of  carbon capture. 
Two of the reasons we shouldn’t be too tidy in the cemetery!😺
