[WGNC] The cemetery on Sunday

William and I were at the cemetery on Sunday. The grass is very overgrown.  I tucked my trousers into my socks for fear of ticks. There aren’t even any paths cut. A notice on the gate proclaims re-wilding👀…..clearly a euphemism for neglect.  We must hope that sense will  prevail eventually. 
Anyway, we did some edging and weeding at the rememberance wall hedge and removed a few nettles and buttercups from the catacomb area and planted a few more bits and pieces there. 
The birdsong was wonderful, especially a thrush. We also heard a tawny owl which was magic.
