[WGNC] Working party - today Monday 20th

Hi all,
Happy new year! I apologise for the late message, which I have been meaning to send for weeks. First of all, yes, we are having a working party today, Monday 20th January. We will be adding gravel around the new Finlayson stone, pruning the apple and pear trees, and tidying up various winter debris.

Secondly, we have various plans, which we need to get into some sort of order.

  1.
Top of the catacombs - to clear and site a new bench.
  2.
Revamp of the bug hotel - we need to collect a new pallet, old/broken terracotta pots and slates, pinecones and other materials
  3.
Two more large planters to deter parking
  4.
Spring refresh of the entrance bed
  5.
Possibly pay a gardening contractor to clear ivy etc. from top/bottom of catacombs

Finally, we need to decide about the date of this year's snowdrop walk, which is so often cursed with poor weather!
