I draw attention to Item 3 pf the Agenda which we need to act upon and I have already previously mentioned this. I suggest we chat about this at the next Newington Cemetery working party and all thoughts welcome. The Guidance for CEC cemetery groups has been through a number of drafts and this final version seems OK if applied with a dose of common sense. Since then the umbrella group through Susan Buckham came back with a couple of edited versions with amendments, which we accepted. It
is anticipated that the final draft (attached) will go to Culture & Communities Committee for approval as part of a wider report on 16<sup>th</sup> November 2021. It would be good to meet up to discuss how this guidance might be used, if agreed by committee.
We need to also look at how we update the guidance in future to adapt to change.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">We also have good news that our order of Spring bulbs has finally arrived from Netherlands. In the next day or so I will circulate a list of what we have so that Friends of Groups can make a request for an allocation – and make plans on
how to plant them soon. We have a few pro-plugger devices to borrow which should make the job easier.
