Friends of Newington Cemetery Birdsong Walk

Sunday 5 May 5pm – 6pm


In spring, Newington Cemetery bursts into song, as the many birds get ready for mating and nesting. But telling the different birds apart can be tricky, especially when the trees are spreading their leaves. Join us for a gentle birdsong walk, led by a local expert, and learn to identify common birds of the cemetery by their call.


We will meet inside the cemetery gates at 5pm for a short introduction, before setting off at 5.15 pm.


All ages welcome.
